Deepti Bhatnagar's journey continues

LUDHIANA: Bringing back memories of the yesteryears, model-TV presenter Deepti Bhatnagar visited the city on Saturday, bringing joy to the family she stayed with.
Having acted in films, including Aamir Khan-starrer 'Mann', Bhatnagar is more popularly know for anchoring 'Musafir Hoon Yaaron', a travel show on television.
But here in Ludhiana, the graceful TV presenter is known for being the 'bahu' of actor Dharmendra's brother Varinder.
Bhatnagar's family friend, Harpreet Kaur Honey, 29, said she was really excited to play host to the celebrity. Honey, a resident of Rajguru Nagar, said, "We've met after two years and it was a great reunion.''
With Bhatnagar's love for the traditional dish of 'saag', Honey had prepared a bowlful for her friend. "I also bought a Phulkari dress for her,'' she added.
While on her way to the city, Bhatnagar stopper near Neelon river and recollected the times she had spent here in Ludhiana with her law mother-in-law. "We used to go out shopping and used to love buying shawls,'' she said.
"As soon as I reached the city, I called up my husband and told him we must buy a house in the farmer near Ludhiana. It's so peaceful and lush, unlike Mumbai,'' she said.
